County renews Home Initiative program for three years

The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Dec. 16 to renew the Cottonwood County Home Initiative Program for another three-year period under Resolution 25-12-16A.
Sonja Wilt, Windom EDA Director, told the board "the current program is set to expire December 31, 2025," and asked that guidelines and participation be renewed. The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Commissioner Wayne Maras and seconded by Commissioner Donna Gravley; a roll-call vote adopted the resolution and the document is on file in the County Coordinator’s office.
The renewal keeps the county's home-rehab/assistance framework in place for the next three years under the guidelines adopted by the board. County staff will retain the resolution and provide any implementation steps through the County Coordinator's office.
