The board opened four sealed bids for grass cutting across 10 village locations and compared pricing: Ring Lawncare ($660.00 per week for all 10 locations over three years), TNT Lawncare ($730.00 per week), OBK Lawn & Trees ($3,290.00 per week), and Xcel Home Improvement d/b/a Luke's Lawncare ($900.00 per week). President Frank Cattani reviewed the sealed bids and Ring Lawncare's owner Stacie Ring said she will coordinate with True Green to subcontract weed abatement and obtain an abatement quote for the board to consider.
Trustee Brad Nicholson moved to accept Ring Lawncare's bid for the 2026–2028 mowing seasons; Trustee Jan Martin seconded and the motion passed with all trustees voting Aye. The board did not yet take a separate vote on weed abatement; True Green's quote will be presented later.
