He requested a $1.00 hourly raise "increasing the part‑time wage to $27.50 and the sergeant's wage to $28.50."
Trustee Jan Martin moved to increase wages as requested and Trustee Molly Thrasher seconded. Trustees Martin, Nelson, Nicholson, Thrasher, Victor and Flanagan voted to approve the increase. The board asked for more detail in the packet for the next meeting to show the wage impact alongside staffing levels and budget implications.
