The Joint Village of Pulaski and Town of Richland Comprehensive Planning Board met May 7 and resumed a detailed, page-by-page review of the joint comprehensive plan beginning on page 187. Board members recorded several specific edits, including adding a sentence to "Continue to review energy usage and continue with energy saving upgrades," and inserting a new line to "Encourage participation in Community Solar Program." The minutes list the attendees and show the board agreed to the revisions during the session.
The board also approved editorial and agency-list changes: paragraph j will replace the word "clarify" with "Use," paragraph I will add "CNYRPD" to the agency list (the minutes record the acronym as written), and paragraph n will add a sentence to "Develop a list of volunteers for various activities." Paragraph q was reworded to recommend that the Town and Village "Use the services of Oswego County Planning Department for the Town and Village, until there is funding to share the expense of a community planner." On page 189, the board left the list of goals and two following paragraphs unchanged, asked staff to verify a cross-reference in the third paragraph, and agreed to remove a final sentence that began with "Formation" now that the Village has a Historic District Law and a Historic District Review Committee.
