Sun Valley council approves tentative FY2015–2016 budget, sets Aug. 6 public hearing

The Sun Valley City Council on July 10, 2015 voted unanimously to approve the Fiscal Year 2015–2016 Tentative Budget Revenues and Expenditures as made public that day and instructed staff to advertise a public hearing on the appropriation ordinance for August 6, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
The motion to approve was made by Council Member Jane Conard and seconded by Council Member Peter Hendricks. A roll call vote recorded ayes from Council President Keith Saks, Council Members Peter Hendricks, Michelle Griffith and Jane Conard and no nays. City Treasurer Angela Walls answered council questions during the review, including at least one clarification requested by Council Member Peter Hendricks, according to the meeting record. The council’s action sets the timeline for the next formal hearing on the appropriation ordinance on Aug. 6 at 4:00 p.m.
