Council approves aircraft permit for Air St. Luke’s event June 27

The Sun Valley City Council approved an Aircraft Landing and Takeoff Permit for Air St. Luke’s on June 23, enabling the aircraft to operate as part of the Ketchum and Sun Valley Fire Department Fire Services Appreciation Day scheduled for June 27, 2015 at Festival Meadows. City Administrator Susan Robertson answered council questions about logistics and permitting.
Council Member Michelle Griffith moved to approve the permit and to authorize the Mayor to sign the relevant documents; Council President Keith Saks seconded the motion. Council Member Michelle Griffith, Council Member Peter Hendricks, Council Member Jane Conard and Council President Keith Saks voted aye; no nays were recorded and the Mayor declared the motion approved.
Staff were authorized to complete the permitting paperwork and coordinate event logistics with fire department partners and event organizers.
