Representatives from the Day Camp — President Tina Weaver and Secretary Jenna Feminis — met with council members to request expanded access to village courts for 2026. The camp asked to add Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to its existing Tuesdays and Thursdays allotment and agreed to forgo court use during the busiest week, June 29–July 5, to leave courts available for public play.
Councilmember Tim McCarthy proposed raising the deposit fee from $300 to $500 and a 14% increase in rental fees. Councilmember Mike Botelho moved to (1) allow the additional Wednesday court day, (2) exempt the camp during June 29–July 5 for public play, and (3) increase the deposit and rental fees as proposed; Brian Cassidy seconded the motion and it carried.
The motion documents both schedule adjustments and fee changes; the minutes do not record further conditions or a formal contract text in this meeting, so staff will finalize the updated contract terms with the Day Camp representatives.
