The Cottonwood County Board recessed its regular meeting at 6:01 p.m. on Dec. 2 for the annual Truth in Taxation meeting, intended to allow taxpayers to discuss property valuation concerns. County Assessor Dave Grev explained how the Truth in Taxation session differs from the Board of Appeal & Equalization held in June and responded to attendee questions about values.
Grev advised residents with specific valuation questions to visit the Assessor's office for detailed review. The Truth in Taxation session concluded at 6:33 p.m. and the board returned to regular business and later adjourned at 6:47 p.m.
