Milford board accepts audits, approves $141,862 fire payment and names ZBA leadership

After returning from an executive session, the Milford Town Board reviewed and accepted annual audits for Milford Town Justices Deborah McMullen and Matthew Kane, based on audits completed March 2, 2026 and reported by Council Member Kristen Velasco-Mochrie. On a motion by Council Member Jessie Thorsland, seconded by Council Member Vera Sosnowski, the board voted to accept the audits.
The board also authorized payment to the Village of Milford for 2026 fire department services in the amount of $141,862 (motion by Vera Sosnowski, seconded by Kristen Velasco; vote: all ayes). In separate action, the board appointed Paul Singh as Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals and Charles Kibler as Vice-Chair (motion by Vera Sosnowski, seconded by Jessie Thorsland; all ayes). The Special Meeting adjourned at 7:42 PM.
