Partridge said decisions about reusing the current Town Barn (for cold storage or a salt shed) or selling it will be tabled until the purchase move progresses.
Council Member Kristen Velasco said the town received an extension to April 24 to complete DASNY paperwork for an $80,000 salt‑shed grant allocated through Assemblyman Miller's office; much of the required documentation (budgets, estimates) is in place though the WKIP form remains unfinished. The board also discussed mass‑notification (mass texting) software and will seek pricing and a demonstration.
