Milford board approves January minutes, January financials and December budget transfers

The Milford Town Board unanimously approved the minutes from its Jan. 21, 2026 meeting and accepted the town’s financial report for January during its regular meeting on Feb. 18. Council Member Jessie Thorsland moved to accept the minutes; Council Member Harold Couse seconded and the board voted all ayes.
Council Member Vera Sosnowski moved to accept the January financial report and to approve budget transfers related to December 2025. The board approved transfers totaling $411.04 moved from account A1990.4 to A8160.4 ($391.24) and A9055.8 ($19.80), with Council Member Kristen Velasco seconding and the motion passing unanimously. Later in the meeting, the board authorized payment of vouchers: General Fund Abstract #2, vouchers 23–41, totaling $16,305.88; Highway Fund Abstract #2, vouchers 19–38, totaling $61,555.40; and Street Lighting Abstract #2, voucher 2, totaling $79.84, on a motion by Velasco seconded by Sosnowski.
