"this program is designed to put information you want the fire department to know at your address, such as your name, address, phone number or keyholders name and number in case of an emergency," he said. He directed residents to Newbuffalotownshipfiredepartment.org to sign up.
The council had no formal action on the demonstration; the presentation was placed early on the agenda so the public could ask questions. The council did not set a deadline or mandate for registering addresses; sign-up is voluntary and managed by the New Buffalo Township Fire Department.
