Superintendent Candice Husson updated the board on personnel and district activities at the March 12 meeting, noting the posting of teacher positions and an upcoming job fair. She reported the district participated in an NYSERDA electric-bus survey and that South Glens Falls will present on electric buses. Husson also listed capital outlay items (basketball hoops, gym electricity, bleacher purchase), spring sports, the annual component district meeting, and scheduled a Special Board Meeting on April 21, 2026 for a BOCES vote; she said the March 28 budget workshop would not be held because it was not needed.
Student Board member Michelle Ordway reported on student activities including Irish Pride and said she will participate in Youth and Government as a press member and attend a Leadership Summit. Mr. McCauliffe (Coordinator of Student Services) described WIN time, a high-school model, grants for technology, an MTSS meeting at Ballard, and a boys group for grades 4–6. President Nellie R. Halloran raised student-safety concerns about vapes, cell phones and drugs disguised as candy.
In the meeting record Husson’s summary of agenda items appears as a single report; the minutes quote items such as "Posting of teacher positions, Job Fair, NYSERDA electric survey (electric busses)" which the board received as part of routine administrative reporting.
