Minerva Board acknowledges alumni centennial, hears supervisor updates and adjourns

At the July 3 meeting the Minerva Town Board passed a resolution acknowledging the milestone of 100 years of Minerva Alumni and heard updates from the Supervisor before adjourning.
Motion #193 recognized the centennial of Minerva Alumni; the board carried the resolution 5-0. In the Supervisor’s report, Stephen McNally noted he was "ready to the cell towers" and said the town is awaiting a state contract for a Kubota mid‑July, requested an estimate for the cost of a gym building, and mentioned disc golf cages for the Beach/Rec area. Highway Superintendent Jonathan Fish was recorded as excused.
During public comment near the end of the meeting Jack Demers cautioned that "During the concert kids are climbing on the pond and going to get hurt," and Ed Healy suggested using the Horse Barn for boat storage. Council members closed with comments about boat‑ramp signage and dock use. The board adjourned at 7:24 PM on a unanimous motion.
