The Minerva Town Board approved small capital maintenance and recreational purchases during its July 3 meeting.
Motion #194 accepted a $3,000 quote from Northern Masonry (Ed Reynolds) to repair the monument at the front of Town Hall, with payment drawn from account ROOST/69894.18. The roll-call vote was 5-0. Motion #195 authorized the purchase of up to five disc golf cages for the Minerva Recreational Area, available for public use, with a spending cap of $2,000 charged to ROOST/69894.18; that motion also carried 5-0.
Councilman Douglas McCall presented the masonry estimate and the board did not record alternative bids or a procurement discussion in the minutes. The minutes do not detail installation schedules or ongoing maintenance responsibility for the disc golf equipment.
