The Town of Elkton Council Committees approved changes to the Downtown Marketplace Vendor Agreement at its Feb. 3 meeting. Council member Louis Heidel moved to accept the agreement as amended; Council member Aaron Napotnik seconded the motion, which carried 5‑0.
Council agreed that the vendor season will start the third weekend in April and that fall hours will end at noon instead of 1:00 p.m. The minutes do not include the full text of the agreement or an explanation of all edits made; staff were directed to implement the schedule and updated vendor terms.
Implementation of the new schedule and agreement will be handled by the town’s EACC/Events Manager and Community Development staff in coordination with vendors.
