The Village of Millerton Board of Trustees voted to approve amended minutes from July 29, 2025 and two voucher batches during its Aug. 26 business meeting.
Deputy Mayor Matt Hartzog moved to approve the July 29 minutes, and Trustee David Sherman seconded; the board approved the minutes after adding a note that the prior meeting moved to the NorthEast Millerton Library Annex due to large attendance. Trustee David Sherman moved to approve vouchers 2022435–2022462 (dated 8/12/2025), listing General $11,125.96; DPW/Fire Expense $4,010.92; and Water $12,024.65 for a total of $27,161.53. The minutes record that "All five (5) present members agreed." The minutes also show Trustee Sherman listed as both mover and seconder for that voucher batch, which appears to be a clerical error in the minutes.
Deputy Mayor Matt Hartzog moved and Trustee Matt Soleau seconded approval of vouchers 2022463–2022488 (dated 8/26/2025) with General $15,540.58; DPW/Fire Expense $26,091.06; and Water $4,465.13 totaling $46,096.77; the motion passed with all five trustees recorded as voting in favor. In total the board approved payments of $73,258.30 across the two voucher batches.
The motions were recorded as unanimous; the minutes do not list individual yes/no votes but state the five members present agreed.
