The Minerva Central School District Board on May 12 accepted letters of resignation and approved a series of personnel actions. The board accepted Bethanie Viele's resignation as 7–12 Science Teacher effective June 30, 2026, and accepted Ellen Bosan's resignation as Class of 2028 Advisor effective June 30, 2026. The motions were recorded as carried 4-0.
The board appointed multiple staff to tenure and probationary positions effective Sept. 1, 2026: Lizbeth Ordway and Amy Gosselin to elementary-teacher tenure positions; Elizabeth Alexander to a Special Education Teacher tenure position; Kathleen Arnold and Ashley Christian to Teacher Assistant tenure positions; Kris Nusskern to a four-year probationary Elementary Teacher appointment (Master's Step 5); and David Pede to a four-year probationary 9–12 Math/Science Teacher appointment (Master's Step 10). The board also appointed Kevin Stockman as full-time Spanish Teacher for 2026–27. All motions for these appointments were carried 4-0 according to the minutes.
A non-resident enrollment request for Liakai Secor was approved as part of the personnel and enrollment actions.
