Village OKs Fire Department Training and Adds Two Members

The Village of Minoa Board approved a training request for A. Reynolds to attend sessions at the Syracuse Fire Department Training Center June 10–12 covering the NYS Chiefs Show, First-in Officer, hoarder fires and thermal imaging camera training at a cost of $1,035.00. Trustee Eric S. Christensen moved and Trustee Schepp seconded the motion; the board approved the request.
The trustees also approved two personnel matters for the fire department: Crystal Carciofolo, 8029 Kirkville Road, Kirkville, was approved as a new support member, and Julian Veley's application for firefighter membership was approved. Both were approved on motions moved and seconded; the minutes record the votes as carried.
