The Town Board entered executive session at 7:05 p.m. on June 10 to discuss personnel and legal matters and returned to regular session at 7:18 p.m. No action was taken during executive session itself, but afterwards the board passed Resolution #113-2025 authorizing Bookkeeper Angela Debeer to make a payment toward a past-due debt owed to the IRS. The authorized payment will be included in the July abstract for board approval.
Councilman Frank Snyder expressed concern during the meeting that a recent lighting project had exceeded its budget; Supervisor Chad Niles acknowledged unforeseen circumstances contributed to the overage and said he would strive to remain on budget on future projects. The vote to authorize the IRS payment was recorded as Ayes-4, Nayes-0.
