Moira board approves abstracts, accepts donations and amends FY2025 budget

On June 10 the Town Board approved payment of General Abstract 6 (claims #110–137) totaling $24,250.73 and Highway Fund Abstract 6 (claims #60–68) totaling $190,495.46; the vote was recorded as Niles—Aye, Trimm—Aye, Snyder—Aye, Deuyour—Aye (Ayes-4). The board also adopted Resolution #111-2025 accepting donations: $400 from Stewart’s Holiday Match Program and $200 from the BMC Alumni Association in memory of Isabell Dorey.
The board adopted Resolution #112-2025 to amend the FY2025 budget with several line-item changes: increase AA 2705.00 (Gifts and Donations) by $600; increase AA 5132.200 (Garage Building—Capital Outlay) by $5,000 (NYSERDA grant); increase AA 7310.100 (Youth Program Services—salaries) by $1,765.63 (OSC Children’s Grant), and increase DB 5112.210 (Highway—Part Town Perm) by $295,100.68 (including a $16,008.68 increase in CHIPs revenue).
