Legislature schedules public hearings on proposed leases and the 2025 county budget

The Legislature set public hearings on two proposed local laws (leases for 435 Smith Street and for Verizon at Innovative Field) for Dec. 10, 2024, and fixed a public hearing date for the County Executive’s proposed 2025 budget on Dec. 5, 2024.

Intro. 331 (lease negotiation with Smith Street Partners LLC for 435 Smith Street) and Intro. 334 (lease negotiation with Bell Atlantic Mobile Systems LLC, d/b/a Verizon Wireless at Innovative Field) were tabled for introductory purposes and public hearings were set for Dec. 10, 2024 at 6:19 P.M. and 6:20 P.M., respectively. Separately, the Legislature fixed a public hearing on the County Executive’s proposed 2025 Monroe County Budget for Dec. 5, 2024 at 5:35 P.M. before the Ways and Means Committee (Intro. 379).
