On Dec. 17 the Legislature accepted a New York State Department of Health grant for the Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program (Intro. 519 / Res. 432) and a Governor's Traffic Safety Committee grant to support comprehensive toxicology testing in DUI and DUID cases (Intro. 520 / Res. 433). The Legislature also authorized intermunicipal agreements with Orleans, Genesee and other counties for sexual-health clinic services and tuberculosis control services (Intro. 516–517 / Res. 429–430) and approved a contract with the University of Rochester to support a forensic pathology fellowship at the Office of the Medical Examiner (Intro. 521 / Res. 434).
