Legislature approves cluster of term-service contracts for engineering, construction and sustainability work
Summary
In a grouped procedural vote, the Legislature approved multiple term-service contracts for construction management, wastewater engineering, environmental consulting, sustainability consulting, solid waste consulting, general engineering/architectural services, and code enforcement term services (Intro. 505–512; Res. 418–425).
Legislators approved a package of term-service contracts during the Dec. 17 special session. The approvals include contracts with Campus Construction Management Group Inc., Christa Construction, LeChase Construction Services, LiRo Engineers, Arcadis of New York, Day Engineering, MRB Group, Barton & Loguidice, C&S, Stantec, LaBella Associates, Popli Architecture + Engineering, SWBR, and T.Y. Lin International for a variety of construction management, wastewater, environmental, sustainability, solid-waste, general engineering/architectural and code-enforcement services (Intro. 505–512; Res. 418–425). The items were presented with committee recommendations and recorded floor votes (captions show 26-0 where noted).
The motion to move the remaining agenda as a whole (M.69) consolidated many of these approvals into a single floor vote after exceptions were noted for a handful of items. The transcript records committee vote captions alongside each contract caption but does not include extensive floor debate or contractor terms in the minutes.
