Minoa trustees approve new positions, hires and fire department appointments

The Village of Minoa Board on June 15 approved several personnel actions. Trustees approved creation of a new Boardroom Attendant position and placed Michael Macko on the Civil Service roster for that role. The board also approved creation of a part-time Deputy Chief of Fire position and directed submission of the job to Onondaga County Personnel for approval.
Mayor Brazill's appointments of Kyle Stanley and Jeremy DiBello as Fire Lieutenants, with terms expiring April 1, 2027, were approved by the board. Trustees accepted the resignation of firefighter Caden Kilian effective May 29, 2026. Separately, the board authorized hiring two part-time DPW trash throwers — Dante Miller and Theodore Piro — at $16.50 per hour effective June 16, 2026.
