The Monroe County Legislature approved a collective bargaining agreement between the county executive and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 158 (Intro. 526 / Res. 439) on Dec. 17, recorded 26-0 following committee recommendations.
The Legislature also approved a collective bargaining agreement between the county executive, the Monroe County Sheriff, and the Monroe County Sheriff Police Benevolent Association (Intro. 527 / Res. 440). That vote was recorded 24-2; the transcript specifically notes, "Legislators Delvecchio Hoffman and Hughes-Smith voted in the negative."
