Moira board appoints summer camp leader, hires eight attendants for July–August program

The Town of Moira on June 10 adopted Resolution #107-2025 appointing Mrs. Julie Lucey as Recreation Leader (seasonal) for the 2025 Summer Day Camp at Brushton–Moira Recreation Park at a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. The program will run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for six weeks from July 14 through August 22, 2025.
The board also appointed Olivia Barney, Addison Childs, Colton Curran, Gianna DePaul, Madison Fleury, Brexyss Gero, Carrisa Smith, and Logan White as Recreation Attendants at $16.50 per hour. The resolution notes that all candidates were approved by the Franklin County Personnel Office/Civil Service and directs the Town Clerk to complete required employment documents. The appointment passed on a roll call vote: Niles—Aye, Trimm—Aye, Snyder—Aye, Deuyour—Aye (Ayes-4, Nayes-0).
