Construction to begin May 18 on Roberts Community Center, city says

The Roberts City Council heard May 12 that Alpine Construction has received the notice to proceed on the Roberts Community Center and that the city’s staff have cleared the building in advance of construction.
Mayor Robert (BJ) Berlin said construction is scheduled to begin May 18 and the project is expected to conclude by early November. No changes to the contract or schedule were proposed by council during the update.
Staff will monitor progress and bring any contract changes or requests for council action to a future meeting.
