Engineers investigating wastewater flow mismatch to Roberts WWTP

Keller Associates told the council May 12 that routine data review showed inconsistencies between the flow measured at a newly installed lift pump and the volume arriving at the Roberts wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). Jaden Jackson reported the team has opened an investigation to determine the cause and ensure all wastewater reaches the WWTP.
Jackson said the collected information has been reviewed and flagged the discrepancy; the firm is tracing pipeline and monitoring data to locate the loss or diversion. No decisions or contract changes were made at the meeting; staff and the consultant will continue the investigation and report findings to the council when available.
Council members did not propose immediate remedial action during the session but emphasized the need to resolve the discrepancy to protect treatment operations.
