Board hears $2.15 million engineering plan to rehabilitate Lansing airport runway

Peabody gave a design/timeline window beginning July 1, 2025, through an anticipated construction start of May 1, 2027. "This will be placed on February 17, 2026, Village Board Meeting Agenda," the record states.
The committee did not take final action; the engineering agreement and funding strategy will be considered by the full Village Board on Feb. 17. If approved, the agreement would authorize design-phase services and associated FAA coordination ahead of construction.
