The Town of Montour Board met May 14, 2025 and unanimously approved a set of routine actions, including acceptance of the April 8 minutes after correcting Richard Carroll’s title to Building Inspector III. Councilperson Robert Simpson moved to accept the minutes and Councilperson Brian Stamp seconded; the motion carried Ayes 3, Noes 0.
The board also approved Resolution #21 permitting the Bookkeeper-to-the-Supervisor to move $9,677.80 from the Building Reserves Account (8609) to the Main Account (1011) (A232BR → A1620.2) to cover apron and gutter expenses. In the same session the board adopted Resolution #22 to pay Abstract #005 (General $23,371.37; Highway $5,205.19; Trust & Agency $1,101.32). All motions were adopted by a 3–0 vote. The board accepted Richard Carroll’s resignation (effective May 23, 2025) by Resolution #23 and appointed Dean Hillyard as Building Inspector III effective May 24, 2025 via Resolution #24.
