Under new business Supervisor David Scott told the board that New York State has passed a law mandating that towns with populations greater than 1,500 must have a .gov website by the end of the year. The board said it will look into the requirements and what implementation will entail.
Supervisor Scott also reported that the first meeting for the Odessa Fire Department to become a Fire District is scheduled for May 21, 2025; the board said it will confirm the date, time, and location at its May meeting.
