The Town Board on March 11 adopted Resolution #14 to establish standard work days and reporting for elected and appointed officials to the New York State and Local Retirement System. The board designated Michael Croft, Highway Superintendent, as a full-time official at 8 hours per day, and Richard Carroll, Building Inspector III, and Gloria Stigers, Town Clerk, as part-time officials at 6 hours per day.
Councilperson Robert Simpson moved the resolution and Councilperson Brian Stamp seconded; the resolution was adopted by a 4–0 vote. The resolution instructs the town to report the officials based on their record of activities to the state retirement system.
