Highway Superintendent Michael Croft updated the board on routine and urgent highway matters on April 8, 2025. He said crews are cold patching holes, sweeping roads and ditching, and that several quotes have been received for upcoming road projects. Croft reported the Fitzpatrick Hill Road bridge received a red-flag during its annual inspection; with assistance from Schuyler County Highway the required work was completed and Croft submitted a response with pictures.
Croft also noted planned work on Drew Road to install a culvert pipe and said the garage apron project is scheduled for the week of April 22, 2025. He described gutters already installed to mitigate water and erosion at the garage apron site. The board reviewed changes to the highway Personnel Policy and provided feedback that the superintendent's edits looked acceptable.
