Councilmembers Bustos and McDowell will serve on the committee along with planning and zoning representatives: Patrick Ernst for the planning commission and Bob Madewell for the board of zoning appeals. Parks representation was listed (O'Harlemont/Earl Harlamont). The mayor said residents representing wards and other perspectives will join (Sam Cox, Nick Sheeter, Filippo Billingarry, Kathy Griffin, Janine Thomas, Terrence Woodruff). The first meeting was scheduled for May 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers, with a narrow scope planned to avoid mission creep.
The mayor said he will chair the committee and that public attendance and input will be welcomed.
