Board plans special meeting on insurance; discusses alternative placement routes and Skyward training

President Linda Bailey reminded the Board of a Special Meeting set for June 30 at 6 p.m. to review insurance options; the next regular meeting is scheduled for July 14. Superintendent Johnson reported planning meetings have addressed alternative placement routes for Academy for Autism, High Road Peoria and Fresh Start Academy Pekin using the new small school bus.
The district has contacted Nathan Glinski, the district's Skyward representative, to provide three days of Skyward training for the secretarial staff with the goal of completing training before summer registration.
