The Moriah Central School District Board of Education on June 17 adopted a bus bond resolution authorizing the issuance of serial bonds not to exceed $152,276 to purchase one diesel student transportation vehicle. The motion was made by Mr. Harlow and seconded by Mr. Malbon; the minutes record the vote as "All in favor."
The resolution states it "authorize[s] the issuance of serial bonds in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $152,276" and provides that taxes on all taxable real property in the District may be levied to pay principal and interest, "subject to applicable amounts of state assistance available or to any revenues available for such purpose from any other source." Under the Local Finance Law cited in the minutes, the district noted a period of probable usefulness of five years. The resolution will be available for public inspection in the District offices for twenty days following the publication of the notice.
