Supervisor Anthony Fernandez told the board the planned cell tower will go up this spring and that Verizon service should go active before higher-band systems are completed; Fire and EMS service activation is expected to take longer. Fernandez said the tower construction is scheduled to begin this year.
He also said Center State will be at the Recreation Center on March 16 to run new propane lines and move the shut-off valve for a new stove. On snowmobile trails, Fernandez summarized the season: the town hired additional groomers, repaired machines, and plans to add new bridges and address a "massive wet spot" behind a Benoit property next season. Fernandez additionally thanked the public after fireworks went off without incident and suggested planning a summer picnic.
These items were presented as updates — no votes or binding commitments were recorded beyond the scheduling and planning notes included in the minutes.
