Town announces CHIPS payment, direct‑deposit rollout, website vendor change and Feb. 21 fireworks

Town Clerk Stephanie Tichenor told the board the town will receive $49,242.79 in March from CHIPS for road work done on Mountain Home Road in 2025; she said, "I have sent in all the paperwork and they emailed me back to say that it's all set."
Supervisor Fernandez reported Hamilton County Accounting Service is implementing direct deposit and four employees have been set up so far. He said North Shore Solutions has resumed website management after Denver relinquished that role and that the town has paid the higher website cost for the year. Fernandez also said fireworks are scheduled for Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. with refreshments at 6 p.m.; he said he and Karen ordered sandwiches and snacks and that insurance allowing alcoholic beverages was purchased; the clerk was asked to post event details on the town website and Facebook.
These items were presented as routine administrative and community updates; the CHIPS payment is intended to reimburse the town for prior roadwork and direct deposit rollout will continue in phases.
