Supervisor Anthony Fernandez told the board that Hamilton County has provisioned the direct deposit payroll system and that the county is currently testing the process. "Everything is a go for direct deposit. The Bank ok'd everything. As of right now the County is testing it out," Fernandez said. If the system is not ready by Jan. 31, he said the town expects it to be ready for the February payroll cycle.
Board members discussed the timeline for the transition, and Fernandez said county testing will determine whether any town follow-up is required. He asked board members to be prepared to come in mid‑ to late‑January to sign audit or payroll documents if needed.
