Town reorganizes snowmobile‑grooming operations; appoints part‑time groomer

Fernandez said he, William Uebele and most groomers met to reorganize how reports are made, which sleds are used and when; the groomers must check equipment before leaving the barn and sign checklists on return. Bob Ford reported maintenance activity, saying the "new snowmobile has the drag pull on it now," and that a 2012 sled was repaired after substantial damage.
The board also approved appointments and vendor arrangements related to grooming and highway operations: Rodney Morgan was appointed as a part‑time trail groomer (effective Jan. 19, 2026), and the board approved invoice payments for highway and general fund bills that include highway fund disbursements. During public comment Sheryl Fleming asked how many groomers there are; Bob Ford replied there are about "7 or 8," noting they do not all work at the same time.
