Morehouse board adopts range of routine resolutions, approves cooking equipment purchase

During the Jan. 6 organizational meeting the Morehouse Town Board approved multiple routine resolutions addressing finance, insurance and town operations. Resolutions included authorization to pay utility bills and contractual obligations (Res. 26-1-1), adoption of an investment policy (Res. 26-1-2), designation of approved banks for deposits (Res. 26-1-3), and blanket undertakings insurance for officers and employees (Res. 26-1-4).
The board also set the travel reimbursement rate at $.725 per mile (Res. 26-1-5), authorized purchase of cooking equipment for the Recreation Center (Res. 26-1-6), continued participation in the NYCLASS municipal cooperation agreement (Res. 26-1-7), approved a $300 agreement with the Adirondack Park Local Government Review Board (Res. 26-1-9), and passed a resolution opposing government-mandated natural gas bans (Res. 26-1-8). Each motion was made and seconded and "carried" as recorded in the minutes.
