Committee backs renewal of voluntary HealthiestYou (Teladoc) offering

Michelle Gaddy and committee members reviewed the voluntary HealthiestYou by Teladoc option added last year. Jessica Sierer of Kepple reported that the service had been utilized by members and that the premium increase this year was $0.25; based on that usage and the small premium change, the committee recommended renewing the voluntary offering to the Board of Education.
The committee's recommendation on Teladoc will be forwarded to the BOE for final approval at the board's Nov. 17 meeting. If the BOE approves the broader benefits renewal, staff and employees will receive enrollment information during the period the committee identified.
