Board directs Carol Botwinski to represent District 23 at IASB regional meeting

The board voted unanimously (5–0) on Sept. 18 to authorize Board Secretary Carol Botwinski to vote on behalf of Prospect Heights School District 23 at the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) Fall Regional meeting on Oct. 22, 2025. The IASB slate and candidate list were described in meeting materials and board direction allows Botwinski to vote as she sees appropriate at the regional meeting.
The motion was made by Becky McClaney and seconded by Tracey Morrissey and passed by roll call (Yea: 5; Nay: 0). The regional meeting is scheduled for Oct. 22 at the Forest View Educational Center in Arlington Heights.
