Alexa Dunn, the district’s director of teaching and learning, reviewed the E‑learning plan and said there were no changes for the coming year. Dunn and presenters Logan Farris and Melissa Ostach then provided an update on the district’s work to incorporate artificial intelligence into curriculum and instruction.
The group described forming an AI Coalition and pursuing a partnership with Leap Innovations to create an AI guidebook. The presenters emphasized that AI should augment educators rather than replace them and said training would be offered to staff on the upcoming SIP day to begin implementation of initial practices.
