Facilities assessment flags welding repair to be completed over winter break; district disposed 60 cu ft of records

During the Committee of the Whole on Sept. 16, Jason Udstuen reviewed the Facilities Assessment and said one outstanding 'A' item requires welding that must be performed when students and staff are out of the building; the plan is to complete that work over winter break.
Udstuen also described maintenance efforts to conserve space and reduce inventory: the district sold a tractor, donated items to charter schools, made several trips to the scrap yard and, after meeting with the state to review records-disposal procedures, was able to dispose of roughly 60 cubic feet of records — an action the minutes note has only occurred twice in the district’s history.
