Oak Grove Board approves IGAs to continue services for visually impaired students and Medicaid access

The Oak Grove School District 68 Board unanimously approved two intergovernmental agreements at its Sept. 16 meeting. First, the board approved an IGA with the Exceptional Learners Collaborative to continue educational services for students who are visually impaired. The motion was made by Emily Savino and seconded by Kim Rihman; the roll-call vote was recorded as Ayes 7, Nays 0.
The board also approved an IGA with the Illinois Department of Health and Family Services to ensure student access to eligible Medicaid services. That motion was made by Laura Reutzel, seconded by Cathie DeMoon, and approved on a 7–0 roll-call vote. Both agreements were presented as informational/approval items under New Business.
