County approves Sourcewell purchases of Bobcat equipment to support road maintenance

The County Engineer received board approval to purchase heavy equipment through Sourcewell purchasing contracts to support road maintenance.
The authorized procurements include one E88 R2-Series Bobcat Compact Excavator for $108,959.60 (Resolution 2026-0480); two E60 R2-Series Bobcat Compact Excavators for a total net purchase price of $88,994.40 after trade-ins (Resolution 2026-0481); and three T770 T4 Bobcat Compact Track Loaders for a net $108,380.51 after trade-ins and trade allowances (Resolution 2026-0482). The resolutions list serial numbers and trade-in values and identify Sourcewell Contract #020223-CEC as the purchasing vehicle. Commissioners said the purchases are necessary to support road maintenance efforts.
All three resolutions passed on unanimous roll call. The County Administrator was authorized to execute the purchase orders and related documents.
