The resolution was approved with all members present voting yes; no nays were recorded. The action sets the district's estimated levy for the coming year and enables staff to proceed with final levy calculations and filings under state law.
Board members also discussed the district's broader budget context during the meeting's finance presentations, which included an overview of operating fund financial concepts and recommended fund-balance practices presented by Cozzi. The administration indicated the levy reflects those fiscal planning considerations and will be finalized in accordance with Truth in Taxation procedures.
