Liaison Laura Brown reported to the Planning Commission on Dec. Board of Supervisors actions and upcoming items. Brown said the Comprehensive Plan was approved and a Zoning Map Amendment was continued because of timing with an owner's notification. She reported that the 180 Kost Road Conditional Use was approved with additional conditions addressing emergency response and decommissioning.
Brown also said the Data Center Ordinance will come to the Planning Commission in February, 1 Baden Powell Lane was approved along with a waiver for no stream restoration, and the Acri plan was approved. Commissioner Ron Secary urged that stream restoration requirements be considered on a case-by-case basis, noting that restoration can sometimes cause more harm than good and be costly to projects.
